Here are some pictures that I really like. This space is generally our immediate family and things we've done. Our extended family and friends can be seen under their respective spaces.
September 2-4 2006 we get to have Kenny and Sabrina for a visit. These are from that visit.

(Add my big 'ol butt to the mix)
(One big happy kinda-sorta family)
April 2005 we re-visited the Enchanted Forest and tried to reenact one of my favorite pictures. It's not quite the same, since Kenny isn't here, but it's close.
November 6, 2005 was Mark and Aaron's 13th birthday. They got new bikes. Mongoose, to be precise. Man I hope they don't break their noggins from trying stuff from that Tony Hawk game that they play. (Notice the short hair - later they will decide to just let it grow free)
November 11, 2005 marked Kendra's 14th birthday. As if she weren't moody enough... And here she is waiting to get her presents. Notice the false sense of sweetness that pours from her little smile.
For Yule 2005, Miss Shandi was blessed with a kitten. His name is Vader. Don't be fooled by his adorable persona - it's all a ruse. He catches you off guard and then attacks your feet when you're not looking! Oh - and he loves to watch Shandi play Everquest 2.
March 2006 had us taking a family trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium for Shandi's 12th birthday. These are some of the pictures from that trip that I like the best. I think the jellyfish pictures came out really nice.

They have a section at the Oregon Coast Aquarium called Passages of the Deep. This is where you go through clear tube stuff under water and see the sharks and eels and stingrays and such. The first picture is Mark and Kendra laying on one of the bottom "windows" watching the sharks swim by. The second one has Mark, Kendra and Ken testing the strength of the "window" just to try to freak me out.

July 2006 brought us Grandma Dee and Ivor! I think that was the busiest week or so of my life! But it was so much fun. They arrived on Thursday evening I believe. They came over and made us dinner on Friday. On Saturday the 1st we had our annual Independence Day Party. On Sunday the 2nd we went to the St. Paul Rodeo. Here you can see the children being oh-so-entertained at the rodeo. (from left to right - Kendra, Aaron, Mark and Shandi) Don't they look thrilled? Other than being quite warm, I didn't think it was so bad. Except those uncomfortable seats. Those were not pleasant at all.
